This is the most heartwarming game I've ever played in my life. I can't describe how much I love it! I even have a video published on diode.zone (peertube instance) where I complete "1-up" achievement :)
although at the time of recording (2021 I think) I was still using steam and other proprietary software such as discord so don't pay attention to it appearing in the video. I also didn't had my precious thinkpad x200 at the time so I was playing on my desktop computer. It had RTX 2060 and Nvidia's proprietary firmware, motherboard's proprietary bios, intel's management engine, all of that nasty stuff. Oh those were the days.

Sadly, nor does Russia or USA care about ukrainian people's lives: Ukraine is just a cardboard game for two big imperialists to play to show off their own influence to each other and I don't see that changing in the near future.
In mid term, Activision Blizzard may actually become more ethical company in the future, considering how toxic the working environment was for women-employees there. But that is not solving the problem, that is just replacing one with another. You shouldn't have supported Activision's games with money before, you shouldn't support Microsoft now. I do find it funny though how Xbox's fans support such decision just because "lol sony got owned". This is basically a miniature of the "slave who drools drools when smugly describing the delights of slavish existence and who goes into ecstasies over their good and kind master" quote. It's an irrational fanaticism over what is just a plastic box with a proprietary system that plays the same games a personal computer with a free operating system can play (well at least most of them but it's getting better as every day passes)
Don't let the convenience absorb your freedom. Please, don't buy gamepass.
